A note mixed with sadness and appreciation, as Annenberg Foundation Executive Director Len Aube passed away yesterday. Len was a great friend and colleague, and an inspiring leader in the philanthropic landscape of California. He served the Annenberg Foundation and the Annenberg Family with stellar leadership, and advanced a clear vision having institutional philanthropy align and collaborate towards a vision of Los Angeles as “the shining city on the hill”, with promise and opportunity for all. We extend condolences and sympathies to the Aube and Annenberg families, and we pause to celebrate his contributions as a civic leader.
