California Health and Human Services (CHHS) Secretary Diana S. Dooley and Don Berwick, MD, MPP, former President and CEO of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement and former Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), will co-chair the final “Let’s Get Healthy California” Task Force meeting on Wednesday, December 19, 2012.
Pursuant to Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr.’s Executive Order, the Task Force was charged with developing a blue-print for improving health, controlling healthcare costs, promoting personal responsibility and advancing health equity in California.
Prior to the Task Force meeting, Secretary Dooley will host a media conference call to discuss the Task Force’s Final Report. Call participants include:
